VCARB Vibes Meet Watchmaking Precision
The Miami Grand Prix has become a magnet for limited-edition watches, and in 2025, Tudor has taken things up a notch with the Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25.” While the carbon case gets most of the attention, the real story might be the dial—a fusion of color, texture, and precision racing cues.
A Bold Dial with a Purpose
Dominated by a lightly textured matte “racing white,” the dial pops with a royal blue outer ring echoing VCARB’s official colorway. A checkered flag chronograph scale circles the perimeter, adding visual energy without overwhelming the clean design. Most text elements and the seconds hand are rendered in electric blue, while a red depth rating nods subtly to motorsport tradition.
Subdials with Substance
At 3 and 9 o’clock, the twin subdials are crafted from raw carbon fiber—echoing the case material and giving the watch a raw, tactile appeal. Black snowflake hands and applied indices retain that familiar Black Bay DNA but with a fierce new character.
Inside the Engine: Kenissi MT5813
Under the hood is the robust MT5813 movement, shared with Breitling. This chronometer-grade caliber includes a column wheel, vertical clutch, silicon balance spring, and a 70-hour power reserve—making it as powerful as it is precise.
Strap That Finishes the Story
Tudor fits the Carbon 25 with a racing-slick-inspired leather strap, lined in rubber and secured with a carbon fiber pin buckle. Blue stitching ties it all back to the VCARB theme, delivering unity in design.
