In celebration of the 50-year legacy of the 1975 uncoated steel Chronograph 1, Porsche Design releases a modern reinterpretation—this time crafted completely in bead-blasted titanium. A lightweight yet powerful tribute that brings classic design into today’s market.

Design Language Rooted in Automotive Heritage
Elegantly simple, the flat matte black dial with white indices and red chronograph hand draws its visual cues from the Porsche 911’s instrument panel. It embodies functional aesthetics, paired with Super-LumiNova for legibility day or night. Dual logos—the traditional and modern Porsche Design insignias—add both authenticity and narrative depth.

Mechanical Performance to Match
This piece measures 40.8 mm in diameter and 14.15 mm in height, offering balanced wearability. Beneath the hood is the Porsche Design Caliber WERK 01.240, with flyback chronograph, automatic winding, 48-hour reserve, and chronometer certification for precision.

A Broader Reach, Limited Edition Appeal
Unlike past models restricted to car owners, this titanium Chronograph 1 is now available to the public, limited to 350 units globally, and priced at roughly USD 9,650.
An Opening Statement for New Retail Strategy
Unveiled during a collaboration event at Watches of Switzerland’s SoHo boutique, this watch inaugurates Porsche Design’s fresh retail venture with the Watches of Switzerland Group, bringing its horological legacy to a wider audience.
