Time Eater’s Humorous Turn
Swiss indie marque Louis Erard and eccentric Russian horologist Konstantin Chaykin take their “Wristmon” Time Eater design to the next level. Rather than a simple regulator, this limited-edition model places a rotating tourbillon inside the monster’s toothy maw, a tongue‑like seconds hand adding movement and mischief.

Distinctive Dial Design
The watch maintains its beloved regulator layout: hours indicated by a rotating eye at 12 o’clock, minutes via a central hand, and seconds displayed through the tourbillon at 6 o’clock. The mouth’s red tongue, part of the tourbillon cage, spins around teeth framing the aperture—an irreverent animation set against a sunburst-wave silver dial.

Dual Color Options
Two exclusive editions distinguish the release. The green variant for Louis Erard carries a matching minute ring, black toad leather strap, and is capped at 78 pieces. The blue version, belonging solely to Chaykin, sports a black calfskin strap and is limited to only 28 units.

Craftsmanship and Mechanics
The polished stainless-steel case (42 mm × 12.25 mm) is defined by domed sapphire crystal and 50 m water resistance. Within, the BCP T02 manual-wind tourbillon delivers 21,600 vph, about 100 hours of power, and elegantly displayed via sapphire case back. Each piece bears circular Côtes de Genève finishing and engraved edition numbers.
Price & Perspective
Priced at CHF 19,900 (~USD 25,000), this Time Eater Tourbillon firmly enters luxury territory, yet retains a playful, subversive spirit in luxury watchmaking. It offers a tongue-in-cheek challenge to traditional high-end timepieces, blending humor with serious mechanics.
